Phoenix Arizona is the 5th largest city in the United States and boasts several distinctive neighborhoods and suburbs.
The Phoenix area’s abundant sunshine, large designated nature preserves, and proximity to many outdoor venues make it a prominent destination for any traveler. Phoenix is home to all four major sports leagues, has hosted Super Bowls and other national sporting events, plus is renowned for its many museums, theaters, and other cultural venues. At any time of year, there are always activities or entertainment for those fortunate enough to call the Valley of the Sun home.
Arizona
Arizona is a setting many associate with the West. From stately cactus in the Sonoran desert, to the grandeur of the Red Rocks of Sedona, to the awe inspiring Grand Canyon, the beauty of Monument Valley, and the ski slopes near Flagstaff. Arizona has the most varied topography in the U.S. if not the world. You can ski in the morning and go swimming in the afternoon. Raft down a river at noon and then go to a symphony that evening.
Arizona takes many weeks and months to explore. Taking a drive to the White Mountains or down to the Desert Museum in Tucson can be a rewarding experience. It has been said that long-time residents are still visiting new locations in Arizona with many more to go. A shoot out revisited at the OK Corral in Tombstone or a visit to the Lowell Observatory.
